8-Day Seychelles Tropical Island Holiday |Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Seychelles ÔÇô Mahe Island
On arrival Mahe International Airport, our company representative will be there to welcome you to Seychelles and transfer you to your hotel at Eden Island. Eden is a beautiful place with a modern marina and shopping mall. Depending on your time of arrival, you will have time to rest, freshen up and tour your surrounding. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Go for Starfish Marine Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel today, you will go for a full day Marine excursion on a catamaran. During this tour, you will have a chance to enjoy snorkelling at the coral reefs. After snorkelling, the boat will anchor off a small island of Moyenne Island.
You will transfer on a rubber duck to the island for a hearty lunch at Jolly Rogers beach restaurant. You will enjoy a brief tour of the place before lunch. After that, you will get back to the boat and return to Mahe. In the late afternoon, you will travelback to your hotel at Eden Island. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, before enjoying dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Visit Praslin Island
A at around 9 am, ater a nice breakfast at the hotel today, checkout and travel to inter-island Quay at the harbour. From here, transfer by Ferry to Praslin Island. This is a commercial ferry on most days leave at 10.30 am but on Wednesdays, there is only a 4.30 pm departure. If needed, we will chance your itinerary as required to fit the ferry departure times.
If you prefer to fly inter-island, we can also organize it. The ferry transfer is approximately one hour. Upon arrival in Praslin, our driver will meet you at the jetty and transfer you to your overnight hotel in Praslin. (Please note that the ‘s’ in Praslin is silent and the name is pronounced as Pralin). You will check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or discovering your surroundings.
Day 4: Visit La Digue and return to Praslin
After a good breakfast today, visit Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve for a guided tour. Here, you will find countless coconut trees including the mythical Coco-de-mer. This nature reserve is also the last habitat of the endangered and rare black parrot.
At aapproximately 10.45 am, you will transfer to the Baie Ste Anne Jetty for a ferry transfer to La Digue island. The ferry transfer is around 20 minutes. Once in La Digue you will collect your bicycles for a discovery cycling tour around the island.
You can also tour the L’Union Estate where you will find rare giant tortoises, landscaped gardens, marvel at granite boulders and Anse Source d’ Argent beach ÔÇô one of the finest beaches on Earth.
At aapproximately 3.45 pm, you will need to return the bicycles and prepare for ferry transfer back to Praslin Island. The ferry leaves at around 4.30 pm. On arrival in Praslin, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day resting.
Day 5: Explore Praslin
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel today. You will have the rest of the day to spend as you please. We can assist with booking optional activities in you want. Some optional things you can do today include:
- Snorkeling and Glass Bottom boat trip
- Fishing charter
- Beach relaxation at Anse Lazio
- Explore the island
- Enjoy a meal at a recommended restaurant like Les Rochers for a seafood lunch
- Enjoy a seaside picnic
- Island hopping
- Do some activity with local people like fishing
Day 6: Travel back to Mahe
After a good breakfast, you will have some free time before transferring to the jetty for the ferry transfer back to Mahe Island. Ferry times vary so we will advise exact times once the dates are known. On arrival in Mahe, transfer to your hotel in Eden Island. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7: Full day in Mahe Island
You will have the rest of the day to spend as you please. You can explore Mahe and partake in optional activities or just relax on a beach. We can assist with booking optional activities such as:
