You will fly over Deadvlei, shipwrecks of Skeleton Coast, Sandwich Harbour, and the coastal town of Walvis Bay. This scenic flight will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes and will be a highlight of your safari. On arrival Swakopmund Airport, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Swakopmund and enjoy a lovely seafood dinner at one of the many restaurants this coastal town has to offer.

Day 4: Damaraland

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast today and perhaps a morning activity before being dropped off at Swakopmund Airport for your scenic flight to Damaraland. This flight is also 1 hour and 20 minutes. You will also see highlights such as shipwrecks, Cape Cross, the Ugab river and of course Namibia’s highest mountain, Brandberg.

You will be at your lodge in time for a rest. After that you will have a sundowner drink, while you enjoy the view over this rugged but beautiful landscape.

Day 5: Damaraland

Today you have a full day to discover the best of Damaraland. This scenic mountainous area of Namibia has an assortment of scientifically important desert-adapted wildlife such as rhino, elephant, zebra and lion, which somehow survive and thrive in this near-barren landscape. Seeing some of them is a special treat indeed!

On your way back to the lodge you will visit Twyfelfontein, another UNESCO World Heritage Site of Namibia. Meaning “uncertain spring” in Afrikaans, it is a huge open-air art gallery in the northwestern Kunene region that is of great interest to international rock art connoisseurs. You will enjoy dinner and sit around the camp fire reminiscing about your wonderful trip so far.

Day 6: Etosha National Park (East)

After your delightful breakfast in Damaraland you will make your way to the runway to depart for Etosha National Park. The name Etosha means “great white place” referring to the huge dry pan in the middle of the national park, believed to have been formed over 100 million years ago.

On arrival at the lodge after our 1 hour and 30-minute flight you will enjoy a fresh lunch and relax by the swimming pool when the sun is at its highest. This afternoon you will participate on your first Etosha game drive.

Returning for dinner, you can enjoy an early night as you have a full day of activities tomorrow.

Day 7: Etosha East

You will tour the eastern side of world famous Etosha National Park today, going for a morning drive after breakfast and returning for lunch and a break in the heat of the day.

You will return to the park for an afternoon game drive and then enjoy dinner back at the lodge again. Don’t forget to look up before settling into your bed tonight – the African night sky, undisturbed by city lights out here in the bush, is truly amazing.

Day 8: Caprivi

You will leave Etosha National Park relatively early this morning after breakfast, making our way northeast for a 2 hour and 50-minute flight. You will stop at Rund to refuel and stretch your legs.

You are heading for the Caprivi, one of Namibia’s hidden secrets. The Caprivi with its verdant green woodlands and huge wide rivers is totally different from what you have experienced in Etosha National Park, and a further illustration that Namibia is not all dust and sand!

You will arrive at your lodge, but not before taking their 4×4 game viewing route. Keep your eyes peeled for many varieties of wildlife you will spot in the lush vegetation.

You can enjoy your first dinner under the Jackalberry trees while observing the wildlife that make their way pass the deck.

Day 9: Bwabwabata National Park

Today you will have a great game drive into the Bwatbwata National Park. The national park is popular for its large concentration of buffalo, elephants and hippo.

Day 10: Return to Windhoek and departure

After an early breakfast you will return to the runway. Your flight will take around 3 hour and 50 minutes. This will be a scenic flight over Khaudum National Park, Waterberg and finally disembarking at Eros Airport in Windhoek.
